Kinect is a camera device for the XBOX 360. What makes it unique from conventional camera devices is that it allows you to play games without the necessity of a controller. That means the controller is yourself, through your body movement, your voice and your facial expressions. You can perform various acts depending on the game you play. For instance, you can jump, spin, duck and a whole lot more.
Kinect and supporting XBOX 360 games are not yet available in the market. The Kinect concept though is nothing new since this was initially introduced a year ago under the name "Project Natal".
Kinect games for XBOX 360 are expected to launch or will have launched in November 2010. However, as early as July 2010 there are previews of Kinect games for the XBOX 360. The collection of games suit any type of gamer and will include games for dancers, racers, animal lovers, treasure hunters, sports buffs and adventure seekers.
